Thank you for your interest in joining the National Association of Vintage Equipment Divers.
This is not a certification agency, nor is the association implying any kind of certification at all.
This is strictly a group of divers with a passion for Vintage Scuba Equipment.
There are very few rules in this social organization but before we can welcome you aboard as a member we ask that you meet a minimum of TWO of the criteria outlined below.

- Provide at least one photo of yourself using scuba equipment that was
made prior to 1975. This one is mandatory. You'll need to meet one of the
next three as well.
- Be an active member of the Vintage Equipment discussion forums at
Vintage Double
Hose.com or
Vintage Scuba
Supply.com
- Dive with us at one of our many Events throughout the year. Sand Dog in Florida, Lake Wazee in
Wisconsin, Portage Quarry, in Ohio or any of the diving events sponsored by
the
Historical Diving Society.
- Have a recommendation from a current NAVED member.

Your $15.00 membership fee will include your full color NAVED card with your
photo on the back. We prefer that your photo show you diving Vintage Gear if at
all possible. If you don’t have one we will be happy to take your picture free
of charge at any of our Vintage Equipment Diving Events. For mailing
